Celebration Entertainment is an event lighting rental company in Brooklyn, New York, serving New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. We light weddings, Sweet 16s, corporate events, school shows and block parties with the same crew that delivers our stages and sound systems, so the lighting arrives on the same truck, goes up in the same setup and leaves at the same pickup.
Every order is placed, aimed and tested in the room before we leave. You tell us the venue, the headcount and the color you want. We bring the fixtures, the stands, the cables and the tape, and we take all of it away afterward.

Most event lighting rental orders are one of three jobs: wash the room in color, light the dance floor, or light a stage. Each package is the fixtures for that job, the stands and cables to run them, and the delivery, setup and pickup. Each one includes the lighting design, the crew that sets and strikes it, and the delivery. A bigger room adds fixtures at the per-piece price, so the package is the floor, not a fixed kit.

The whole room? The Full Room package is $2,950: the Uplighting Package, the Dance Floor Package and a gobo monogram, one crew and one design, for less than the three on their own. A 200-seat ballroom adds uplights at $75 each. Stage lighting rides with stage rental and the PA package, so a band or a school show gets one number for the whole job.

The fixture that changes a room fastest. Uplights sit on the floor against walls, columns and drapes and wash them in color from below. One color turns a plain hall into your event; two colors give a wedding its palette. Uplighting rental is the order we get most often, and it needs no rigging at all.
Intelligent lights that pan, tilt and change color. Over a dance floor they put beams in the air and movement on the crowd. On a stage they follow the performer. We set them on stands or a truss and program the show before the doors open.
A gobo projector throws a pattern or your names onto a wall or the dance floor: a monogram for a wedding, a logo for a corporate event, a name and a date for a Sweet 16. Send us the artwork and it arrives ready to project, aimed on the day.
Warm white bulbs strung over a tent, a backyard or a rooftop. It is the look every outdoor wedding and block party asks for. We run them on poles, the tent frame or a truss, and power them from the house or a generator.
Front wash, backlight and color for a stage, on truss towers or light stands. It is how a band or a speaker reads from the back row, and how a school show looks like a show. A stage lighting rental is quoted with the stage and the sound, so one crew builds all of it.
The machines that make lighting visible and a party memorable. Haze puts the beams in the air, snow and bubbles turn a kids party or a winter event, and a foam machine is a summer block party on its own. Every one of them is checked against the venue rules first.
Power and permission. Uplights and string lights run off ordinary outlets. Moving heads, a truss rig and effects machines need more, and an outdoor job usually needs a generator once the sun goes down. Haze, smoke and foam need the venue to say yes, and we ask before we bring them.
Setup is included on every event lighting rental, everywhere we go. We bring the fixtures, stands, cables and tape, place and aim every light, run the effects if you have them, and check the whole room before we leave. After the event we come back and take all of it away.
Delivery has a number on it, and here it is rather than "call us". Brooklyn $95, free over $595. Manhattan and Queens $175, free over $1,500. The Bronx and Staten Island $225, free over $1,800. Nassau, Westchester and northern New Jersey $295, free over $2,500. Past that it is $10 a mile, measured one way from Brooklyn 11230. Minimum lighting order is $995 in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, and $1,500 everywhere else - a crew and a truck for an hour each way has to be worth the trip.
The rental period is one day, 24 hours, and day two and day three are half price, so a Friday to Sunday event costs twice one day, not three times. Two extras are published up front rather than added later: $195 if the gear has to go up more than two flights with no elevator, and $195 for a pickup after 10pm. Book before 11:30am and it goes out the same day. After that it is the next day.
We are open 8am to 8pm seven days a week and we answer text messages until midnight, which matters when the event is on a Saturday night.

Stage lighting on truss towers and string lights across the street, powered from a generator once the sun goes down.
Private parties and holidays
A birthday in a restaurant back room, a holiday party at the office, a backyard party under bistro lights. Party lighting rental starts at the $995 minimum, with the crew inside.
