How long they float
Helium latex balloons float about 8 to 24 hours indoors. Heat makes them pop; cold makes them sink.
Latex allergies
Latex can cause reactions. For a guest with a latex allergy, choose foil (mylar) balloons.
Keep them inside
Don’t release balloons outdoors, and keep them away from power lines.
Little kids
Pieces of popped latex can be a choking risk. Pick them up right away around small children.
