Four steps from your balloon count to us taking the empty tank away. Questions in between? Call (718) 787-4477.
Tell us how many balloons and what size. We match the tank to your count, so you never pay for helium you will not use.
We confirm the tank size and the price up front. Pay by card or Zelle, or order on a school purchase order.
Order before 11:30am and we deliver the same day across NY, NJ, CT and PA. In Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens that is usually 2 to 3 hours. Delivery is priced by distance, or pick the tank up at our Brooklyn store, 8am to 8pm daily.
A full week on every tank size, with the regulator and no deposit. Need it longer? Call before the week ends and we extend it.
Pick the helium tank for balloons by how many balloons you need. The counts are for standard latex balloons: the first number is 12 inch, the second 11 inch. Foil and bigger balloons are in the chart below. Every tank comes with a regulator and a full 7 days. Not sure? Use the balloon helium calculator, read how much helium you need, or call and describe the job.

Bigger balloons use far more helium: one 24 inch balloon takes as much as several 11 inch ones. The chart below shows how many latex, foil and bubble balloons of each size every tank fills, so you can pick the right cylinder before you order. First time with a tank? Read how to use a helium tank.
Mixing balloon sizes for an arch or a garland? Add each size and quantity to the balloon helium calculator and it tells you which tank covers the whole job. Or call us and we work it out with you.

Helium tank rental is $195 for the Tiny tank, 5 for Extra Small and 5 for Small, each with the regulator and a full 7 days included, and no deposit. Larger tanks and delivery are priced by the job, so we quote your exact order on the phone in about two minutes.
Every tank comes with the regulator and written instructions at no extra cost.
A full week on every size. Need longer? Tell us before the week ends and we extend it.
No security deposit on a short-term rental, and no card hold.
One quote for the tank, the helium and the delivery. Nothing added afterwards.

Tank size: a 33 cubic foot tank and a 291 cubic foot tank hold very different amounts of helium. How long you keep it: 7 days are included, and longer is arranged. Distance: delivery is priced by how far we travel, and pickup of the empty is included. Filling: if you would rather we fill the balloons, that is priced per balloon.
The larger tanks and delivery are quoted by the job, because a birthday two miles away and a festival ninety miles away are not the same order. A quote takes about two minutes: call (718) 787-4477 or send us a text.
Add the balloon sizes and how many, and the calculator picks the helium tank that fills them all. For the full chart of balloons per tank and helium per balloon size, open the balloon helium calculator page.
Tap a line to pick one or more balloon sizes at once, then type how many of each. The tank fills up as you go. Tap × to remove a line.

Under about 30 balloons, having us fill them is usually cheaper than renting a tank. Over about 50, or when you need to top balloons up over a day or two, renting the tank works out better.
Wondering where to fill balloons with helium? For a small number, this is the cheapest way. Bring them to our store in Brooklyn and we fill them while you wait, any size, including large printed advertising balloons. You pay per balloon, and there is nothing to return.
We bring a large tank to your venue and fill the balloons there, for a travel charge plus a price per balloon. Best when the balloons are fragile, the venue is far, or you would rather not do it yourself. Decorators use it on tight setup windows.
Not sure which way round makes sense?ย Call and tell us the balloon count. We will do the math with you rather than push you toward the bigger order.
A refill puts helium back into a tank you own. An exchange swaps your empty tank for a full one of the same size.
For a cylinder you already own. Bring it to our Brooklyn store and the refill takes about 15 to 20 minutes, or we pick up the empty and bring it back full. Looking for a helium tank refill near me? Call ahead so it is ready when you arrive.
This is a straight swap. You give us an empty cylinder and we give you a full one of the same size. We deliver the full tank and take the empty away in the same visit, anywhere across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

A large helium cylinder is not household waste: trash pickup and curbside recycling will not take a pressurized cylinder.
We pick up large empty helium tanks across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, in most cases at no charge, even if you did not rent from us. Call (718) 787-4477 and we arrange helium tank recycling and disposal. If we delivered the tank, taking the empty away is already part of your rental.
If you fill balloons every week, a long-term account is cheaper and easier. The tank stays at your shop, and when it runs empty we deliver a full one and take the empty away. Special rates apply for high-volume use. Call to open an account: it takes one short conversation.

For long-term accounts we walk you through it in person when we deliver: how to secure and store the cylinder, how to attach and check the regulator, and what to watch for. Our cylinders are inspected regularly, and if anything seems wrong during your rental, call us 8am to 8pm. We've been renting extra-large helium tanks from them for our stores in Brooklyn for several years. We have locations in Williamsburg and Borough Park, and before the holidays we order helium tanks to fill balloons for the kids. They deliver the tanks directly to our stores and the service is always reliable and convenient. We've used them many times and have always had a great experience. I definitely recommend them for helium tank rental and delivery in Brooklyn.
The P.S. 23 PTA, located in Staten Island, NY, uses them for our long-term rental of an extra-large helium cylinder throughout the school year. We use the tank for balloons for our various school events and PTA activities, so having a reliable helium supply on hand is incredibly helpful. Their service has always been great, and delivery and pickup are easy and convenient.

Order before 11:30am and we deliver the same day, so a "helium tank near me" search ends with a tank at your door. After that it goes out the next day. In Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens that is usually within 2 to 3 hours. We take last-minute orders 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm, and we answer text messages until midnight.
Every rental runs a full 7 days, on every size. That gives you time to set up the day before, run the event and return it without rushing. Need it longer? Call before the 7 days are up and we extend it for a small fee. Businesses that use helium every week are better off on a long-term account.
Yes. We come back for the empty cylinder anywhere we deliver in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, so there is no return trip for you. You can also drop it back at our Brooklyn store, 8am to 8pm, seven days.
No. There is no deposit on a short-term rental, and no hold on your card. Long-term business accounts work on different terms, which we go through when you open the account.
The tank, the helium, a regulator for latex balloons, written safety instructions and a full 7 days, with no deposit. Long-term accounts also get an in-person safety walkthrough on delivery.
Tiny fills 60 to 66, Extra Small 109 to 120, Small 163 to 180, Medium 200 to 220, Large 398 to 438 and Extra Large 529 to 582. The lower number is for 12 inch latex balloons and the higher one for 11 inch. An 18 inch foil takes about the same as an 11 inch latex, while jumbo and giant balloons take more. The chart on this page lists every size, or call us if your job is a mix.
No. Foil balloons smaller than about 18 inches, such as 9, 10, 12 and 14 inch foil shapes and 16 inch foil letters and numbers, are air-fill only. They hold so little helium that the lift cannot carry the weight of the foil and seams, so they sit on the table instead of floating. Use them on sticks, as cake toppers or taped into garlands and walls. Helium foil starts at about 18 inches. The one smaller foil that floats is the 16 inch Orbz globe, because it is a full round ball.
About 55 to 60 cubic feet for 100 standard 12 inch latex balloons, a little less for 11 inch. The Extra Small tank (60 cu ft, 5) covers it. Foil and oversized printed balloons use much more, so tell us the sizes, or use our balloon helium calculator.
For a small party, a disposable store tank of about $50 fills roughly 30 small balloons, so 100 balloons means three of them. A rental gives you a real cylinder, a regulator and 7 days, and we take the empty away. If you fill balloons every week, a long-term rental account usually costs less than owning a cylinder, because you do not pay for refills, storage and transport.
Under about 30 balloons, bring them to our Brooklyn store and we fill them while you wait, priced per balloon, with nothing to return. Over about 50, renting a tank works out cheaper per balloon, and you keep it for 7 days. Tell us your balloon count and we tell you which one costs you less.
A refill puts helium back into a cylinder you already own and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. An exchange swaps your empty tank for a full one of the same size. We do either at our Brooklyn store or at your location.
Yes. We are a registered Department of Education vendor under the name Party Services Inc. We accept purchase orders and supply helium for graduations, field days, fairs and school celebrations all year.
Not in the trash: a large helium cylinder is pressurized, so household waste and curbside recycling will not take it. We pick up large empty helium tanks across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, in most cases at no charge, whether or not you rented from us. Call (718) 787-4477.
