Included With Every Inflatable

What Comes With Every Bounce House Rental

Celebration Entertainment rents bounce houses and inflatable accessories from Brooklyn, New York. Every inflatable goes out with everything it needs to run safely: the bounce house blower, a floor tarp, steel stakes for grass or sandbags for hard ground, and ratchet straps when the spot calls for them. You only add a generator when there is no outlet close by. Inflatables start from $375 for a 2 hour minimum, and more hours are available, price on request.

  • The Right Blower

A 1.5 HP blower for bounce houses and combos, a 2 HP blower for big slides and obstacle courses. It runs the whole party.

  • Floor Tarp Under the Unit

A clean tarp keeps the vinyl off rocks, sticks and wet ground, and keeps hall and gym floors safe.

  • Stakes or Sandbags

Steel stakes on grass, heavy sandbags on driveways, streets, blacktop and indoors. Every anchor point is used.

  • Delivery, Setup and Pickup

Our crew sets it up, tests it, goes over the safety rules and takes everything away after the party. Delivery is priced by location.

Sizes

What Size Generator Do You Need for a Bounce House?

It depends on how many blowers you run. A blower runs the whole time, and a motor pulls 2 to 3 times its running watts for a few seconds when it starts, so we leave room on every generator. Find your setup below.

Prices are from, gas included for up to 6 hours of run time, delivered with your inflatables. A 1.5 HP blower runs at about 1,100 watts (9.2 amps) and a 2 HP blower at about 1,800 watts; both pull 2 to 3 times that for a few seconds when they start.

Have an outlet close by? You may not need a generator at all. The blower plugs into a standard outdoor outlet; we bring the extension cord, and each blower should be on its own circuit. Tell us how far the outlet is from the spot, and we tell you if it works.

Setup

Blowers, Stakes, Sandbags and Straps: How We Set It Up

Each piece has a job. Here is what we bring and when we use it.

Generator for bounce house setup: our crew plugging the blower into a Predator 3500 quiet generator behind a combo bounce house in a Queens park
Our crew plugging the blower into a Predator 3500 in a Queens park

Bounce House Blower

The blower keeps air moving the whole party. If it stops, the unit goes soft, so it stays on until everyone is out.

  • 1.5 HP for bounce houses and combos
  • 2 HP for big slides and courses
  • Set at the back, guarded from kids
  • Included, or rent one alone from $175

Quiet Generator

For parks, streets and yards with no outlet in reach. We size it to your blowers and set it behind the units, never in the kids' path.
  • Predator 3500, 5000 or 11,500
  • Gas included, up to 6 hours
  • Cords run along the back
  • From $275

Anchor Stakes

On grass, steel stakes go through every anchor strap and deep into the ground, so the unit stays put in the wind.
  • For grass and soft ground
  • Every anchor point is used
  • Driven in by our crew
  • Pulled out and holes filled after
25 LB

Sandbags

Driveways, streets, blacktop and indoor floors cannot take stakes, so heavy sandbags hold every corner instead.
  • For concrete, asphalt and indoors
  • Tied to every anchor strap
  • Protects floors and driveways
  • Brought by our crew

Ratchet Straps

Where there is something solid to tie to, a fence post, a tree or a heavy fixture, ratchet straps add one more hold.
  • Extra hold on windy days
  • Tied to solid points only
  • Used with stakes or sandbags
  • Checked before the kids go in

Floor Tarp

A tarp goes down first, under every unit. It keeps the vinyl clean and dry and protects gym, hall and home floors.
  • Under every unit we set up
  • Keeps out rocks and sticks
  • Protects indoor floors
  • Folded and taken away after

Safety on the day: keep the blower and the generator area off limits to kids, leave the blower on until everyone is out, and in steady winds over 15 mph, gusts over 20 mph, or winds above the unit’s own limit in its manual, whichever is lower, or when rain, lightning or a storm is on the way, get everyone out, deflate the unit and call us. No inflatable is used in winds over 25 mph. We go over these rules at setup.

Delivery and Setup

Delivery, Setup and Where the Generator Goes

The generator comes on the same truck as your inflatables. Our crew sets up the bounce house, anchors it, connects the blower, starts the generator and tests everything before the kids go in. After the party we turn it off, deflate the unit and take everything away.

Where the generator goes: behind the inflatables, by the back fence or in the gap between units, never in front or in the kids' path. Cords run along the back and the sides, never across a street or a walkway.

Delivery is priced by location. We quote it together with the inflatable and the generator, from the address you send.

Parks and permits: many city parks need a permit for inflatables and for generators. Check with the park before you book, and we can send our insurance paperwork. Our inflatables are insured and carry a New York City Department of Buildings inspection certificate.

How It Works

How Renting a Bounce House With a Generator Works

Four steps from picking the spot to the pickup.
  • Tell Us the Spot

Park, street, backyard or driveway, and how far the nearest outlet is, if there is one.

  • Pick Your Inflatables

Choose your units, and we match a generator to the number of blowers.

  • We Deliver and Set Up

Our crew sets up, anchors the units, places the generator at the back and tests everything.

  • Jump, Then We Pick Up

At the end of the rental we turn it all off and take everything away.
