Generator Rental: Quiet Generators for Block Parties and Outdoor Events
Generator rental with the gas and setup included: a Predator 3500 quiet inverter at $275, a Predator 5000 at $375, a Predator 11,500 at $575, and towable diesel generators for big events from $1,750 (20 kW) to $2,750 (56 kW), set up with spider boxes and cables. For block parties, backyard parties, festivals and outdoor events in NY, NJ, CT and PA.
Celebration Entertainment is a party and event rental company in Brooklyn, New York. Our generators go out on our own truck, usually with the sound, the stage, the inflatables or the food machines they are powering, and we set them up so the party never waits on power.
We size the generator to your load before we quote. Tell us what you are plugging in, and we add up the watts and pick the generator that runs it without tripping. If your event needs more power than two of our generators can carry, we tell you when you book, not on the day.
Rental period is up to 6 hours of run time with the gas included, the same as a block party day. Longer events are quoted with the extra gas and hours.

Sizing
What Size Generator Do You Need?
Add up the running watts of everything you plug in and leave room to spare. These are rough numbers for common party equipment. Tell us your list and we check it for you.
A Predator 3500 runs the DJ and sound at a block party.
DJ, Sound and Lights
A DJ or PA system with two speakers, LED uplights and a laptop draw far less than people think. The Predator 3500 runs them with clean power that will not hum through the speakers.
A bounce house blower runs all day and needs a steady supply, plus a little extra power the moment it starts. The Predator 5000 is built for that, and it can run more than one blower when the sizes allow.
Concession machines heat up and pull a lot of power. A popcorn machine, a cotton candy machine and our hot dog grill each need a real share of a generator, so we plan them on the Predator 5000 or the two-generator package.
A towable diesel generator powers a whole festival: stage, lights, sound and vendors.
Not sure what size you need? Send us the list of what you are plugging in, from speakers to a popcorn machine, and we size it with you. If the load is more than two of our generators can carry, we say so before the event.

How Big a Generator Do You Need? Try the Calculator
Add what you will plug in, from bounce house blowers and popcorn machines to speakers and lights, and see the watts, the amps and the generator that runs it all.
Watts are typical draws of current and recent equipment on the market, rounded up. Check the label on your own gear (watts = volts x amps). Prices shown are estimates, with gas included.
The Generators
Predator 3500, 5000, 11,500 or Towable Diesel
Four kinds of generators, and each one has a job.
Predator 3500
Super quiet inverter, 3,000 running watts, clean power for sound, lights, laptops and projectors.
Predator 5000
Super quiet inverter, 3,900 running watts, gas or propane, for bounce house blowers and concession machines.
Predator 11,500
Super quiet inverter, 9,000 running watts, gas or propane, for a water slide, a bounce house and a DJ at once.
Towable diesel
20, 36 or 56 kW on a trailer, with spider boxes and cables, for festivals and big tents.
Just a generator? $275, $375 or $575 on its own is under our $595 delivery minimum, so alone it is an add-on to a bigger order or a pickup from us. The Two-Generator Package at $595 goes out delivered, free in Brooklyn. Carbon monoxide is the real danger with any gas generator: it always runs outdoors, at least 20 feet from doors, windows and tents, and never inside a garage or under a closed tent.
Delivery
Delivery, Setup and What It Costs
Setup is included everywhere we go. We bring the generator, place it outdoors on a flat spot away from the guests, run the power cords to your equipment and start it before we leave. Pickup is included.
Delivery has a number on it. Brooklyn $95, free over $595. Manhattan and Queens $175, free over $1,500. The Bronx and Staten Island $225, free over $1,800. Nassau, Westchester and northern New Jersey $295, free over $2,500. Past that it is $10 a mile, measured one way from Brooklyn 11230. Minimum order for delivery is $595 in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, $995 beyond.
You provide a flat outdoor spot for the generator, clear of doors, windows and play areas. We fill it before the event so it runs the whole party without refueling. We are open 8am to 8pm seven days a week and answer text messages until midnight.
We tow the big diesel generator to your event with our own truck, then set it up with the cables.

They were very professional and came on time even at the last minute and our party was successful.
$275 for our Predator 3500 quiet inverter, $375 for our Predator 5000 and $575 for our Predator 11,500, for up to 6 hours with the gas, setup and pickup included. Both together are $595. A towable diesel generator for a big event is $1,750 for 20 kW, $2,250 for 36 kW and $2,750 for 56 kW, with setup, pickup, the diesel, two spider boxes and four 50 foot cables included. Delivery is free in Brooklyn over $595.
Our prices are per event, up to 6 hours of run time, which covers almost every party and block party. A longer day is quoted with the extra hours and gas. Multi-day festivals are quoted per day.
For one party a year, renting is cheaper. You pay for the event only, with no storage, no oil changes, no stale gas and no carburetor to clean. We also size it to your load and deliver it, so you never buy the wrong size.
Add up the running watts of what you plug in. A DJ or PA system with lights runs well on our Predator 3500. A bounce house blower needs about 1,000 to 1,500 watts, a popcorn machine about 1,400 and a cotton candy machine about 1,000. Send us your list and we size it for you before we quote.
Yes. Our Predator 5000 runs a bounce house blower all event long. We put the generator away from the jump area and run the cord to the blower. Two inflatables can often share one generator, depending on their blowers.
No. Both of our party generators are Predator super quiet inverters, built for low noise and clean power, so the 3500 can sit near the DJ table without humming through the speakers. We still place every generator outdoors and away from the guests.
Yes. For festivals, stages, concerts and big tent events we bring a towable diesel generator on a trailer: 20 kW for $1,750, 36 kW for $2,250 or 56 kW for $2,750, all set up and picked up. We tow it in with our own truck, set up two spider boxes and four 50 foot power cables, and it powers the lighting, the stage, the sound and the vendors for the whole event. These units are quiet (about 60 dBA at full load) and carry enough diesel to run 20 hours or more.
A spider box is a portable power distribution box. One heavy cable runs from the generator to the box, and the box splits it into several protected outlets, with GFCI and breakers, so the stage, the DJ, the lights and the vendors each get their own circuit. Our towable generator rentals come with two spider boxes and four 50 foot cables, so power reaches every corner of the event without daisy-chained extension cords.
Yes. We fill the generator before the event with enough gas for up to 6 hours, so nobody refuels while guests are around. Towable diesel generators come with the diesel for the event.
Always outdoors, on a flat spot, at least 20 feet from doors, windows and tents, and away from where kids play. Never in a garage, a basement or under a closed tent. Carbon monoxide is the real danger with any fuel generator, and placement is how we prevent it.
For a block party, the street closure permit is the main one, and we can walk you through it. For street fairs, FDNY rules (3 RCNY 403-01) require at least one fire extinguisher rated 10-B:C for each vendor area and a clear 15 foot fire lane, and a larger amount of fuel on site needs an FDNY permit. Ask your organizer what your event needs, and we plan the generator to fit.
Yes, as a pickup from us in Brooklyn, or as an add-on to a delivered order. On its own, $275 or $375 is under our $595 delivery minimum. The Two-Generator Package at $595 is delivered free in Brooklyn.
Yes, across the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Manhattan and Queens are $175, free over $1,500. The Bronx and Staten Island $225, free over $1,800. Nassau, Westchester and northern New Jersey $295, free over $2,500.
Two to four weeks for a party. For June block party season and for towable diesel generators, book as early as you can, since the big units go fast in summer.
