It is a helium tank account for businesses that use helium every week or month, like party stores, balloon decorators, florists and venues. We keep cylinders at your location and you order refills and exchanges by phone, text or email, without filling out a new form each time.
The monthly fee is $35 a month for the account, plus sales tax, with the 3% credit card surcharge added to the total. It is for the rental of the equipment, not for helium. Your first month is charged in full when your account opens, even if you start in the middle of the month; there are no partial months. After that, it is charged automatically to the card on file on the 1st of each month. Helium refills, exchanges and new orders are charged separately when you order them.
Yes. Long-term accounts have a 7-month minimum. If the account is closed or ended before 7 months, the monthly fee is readjusted to $50 a month (plus sales tax and the card surcharge) for every month the account was open, and the difference is taken out of the security deposit. If the deposit does not cover the balance due, the rest is charged to the card on file.
No. Nothing is charged when you send this application. Your card is checked and saved securely with Authorize.net, our payment processor. We never see or keep your full card number. The security deposit is on your opening invoice, together with the first month and delivery.
The security deposit is $675 for each medium or large tank, $775 for each extra-large tank. There is no sales tax on the deposit. It is returned when the account is closed, there is no balance left on the account, and all equipment comes back in good working condition, not broken and with no missing parts. When you close the account, we come to pick up the tanks (unless you drop them off yourself at our Brooklyn location), and the pickup fee is paid from your deposit, not charged to your card. Any balance left on the account is also paid from the deposit. The rest of the deposit is returned to you by check, mailed or sometimes handed over at the final pickup, within 14 to 30 business days.
Our cylinders are valuable, pressurized equipment that stays at your business for months. A copy of the account holder's driver's license or government ID, front and back, helps us protect your account from fraud. It is kept private and only our office can open it.
Send us a written notice by email or mail. The account stays open until all equipment is returned or picked up by our team, in good working order.
